I really enjoyed
making this one. The 18mm round and square Swarovski rivoli's are
all in Tabac. A gorgeous color that shifts, depending on the beads
used to bezel it. When you move the crystal, you get shots of olive
green, dusty rose, bronze, peach, and even a bit of khaki. Freeform
brick stitch makes up the main part, with pearls, bugles, and Czech
beads to embellish. The spiral rope is made up of 3mm Swarovski
bicones in crystal copper and end at the back with a 14mm Swarovski
rivoli in smoked topaz. It took about 40 hours in total to complete.
This necklace is
approximately 20 inches in length and each rivoli back is completely
covered with beads to avoid any interactions with oils from skin or
from scratching.
