I've been to a few Harvesters around the local area. I would say this is one of the better ones. The service qas quick despite being very busy. There the normal great choice of food as well as some lovely looking desserts. Staff were all really friendly and the restaurant was well laid out. Worth booking to avoid disappointment.

The food is awful! For starters I ordered cheesy garlic bread but it came with NO cheese. When enquiring about this we were told the green stuff (parsley) was garlic and the crumbs on top (garlic) was the cheese! Hahaha!! Then came our mains……. My girlfriend ordered waffle, chicken and bacon. Disgusting. The waffle was rock solid as if it hadn’t been defrosted properly. Very very disappointing. The only good thing, my passion fruit martini and the nacho starter. Will never ever visit again.

We had a nice time here - great service and tasty food. We had our littleuns with us and they looked after us well. Fairly busy on a Saturday lunchtime. Good sized car park to the side and good changing / toilets

Loved our visit! Ashton was an amazing services with great attention to detail. We had a group of 20 and he took the time to speak to each person making sure they were taken care of. Props to the kitchen staff for serving up for our table quite quickly.

The food was good but unfortunately when I asked the staff for a take away box , the nice lady brought us plastic boxes that were dirty and wet :(.This is not acceptable expecilly now during the Covid time. Sad and disappointed. Avoid this place!!

Very disappointed with the salad bar as it was virtually empty. We were there for an hour and a half, and all they put in was some beetroot.Our waitress was very good, she was very apologetic but it was out of her control.There were lots of complaints about the food from other diners, the food was not cooked or cold.The cold desserts were served in hot dishes, so the ice cream melted before we had a chance to eat it.It will be a long time, if ever, that we go back.

Despite what was clearly and extremely busy evening, I was seated promptly and treated very well by all memebers of staff. Particular shout out to Ashley, who did a great job of looking after me during my visit.The food was well presented, hot and arrived and the right sort of pace, to allow me to relax and take my time over the meal and I never felt pressured in any way. I'll be back!

We were welcomed by a member of staff and shown to our table. The waitress (the same lady that welcomed us) came and gave us menus then took a drinks order. After a short while she brought our drinks and took our menu choices. We were given our salad bowls and went to the salad bar. One of the bowls was not clean and we asked for another bowl, she said she felt it was clean. She should have just taken the dirty bowl and replenished us with a clean bowl without questioning! Before we had finished our salad starter the waitress brought our lunch items. She should have gauged the timing and waited to bring our lunch items. No major problem! All in all we enjoyed our lunch and the experience would not stop us from returning!

Nothing approached ‘great’.Our table was booked for 6.30. On arrival there was no-one to greet us at the reception desk. I looked into the restaurant for staff but found none. Eventually I asked a member of the bar staff to find someone, which he did.Once seated, after 10 minutes we had to attract a member of staff to serve us and she took our drinks order.It was noticeable that there were not enough staff. Some seemed to be rushing about, others bemused and just coming to stare at the (orders?) screen. The guests on the next table commented that they could see their food at the serving counter, but it was easily 5-10 minutes until it was bought to them.It was plain that more effort was being put into delivery orders, rather than the restaurant guests.After 48 minutes since arriving our drinks had still not arrived and no-one had been to take our food order. With a very hungry 5 year old, we decided to leave. I told our server- she said she was just going to order our drinks!

on arrival the staff were friendly enough. restaurant was busy so had to sit in the garden which was lovely HOWEVER we waited approximately an hour for food. spent almost £70 for 2 mixed grills and drinks and the food was horrendous.... cold over cooked steak, chips and onion rings dripping in oil, sausage was charcoal and everything tasted bitter where it was way overcooked and peas had gone dry and hard. no staff about to complain to either.

Harvester is always good for breakfast! I came with my two daughters on a Saturday morning and it was fairly busy but our server, Sally, seemed to be on her own at first which must be difficult. She was great though and helped us to save some money on the kids breakfasts by putting together a custom-built one. Super tasty, as always! We’ll be back!

Good evening out for my girlfriend’s birthday. Was clearly busy and we had to wait a couple of minutes for our table but everyone kept us informed of the situation, the food came out rapidly and the staff were all very helpful and welcoming. Our waitress, Sally, was lovely and will definitely go back again. Good value for money

Jaime saved the day after a bumpy start with service by other team members. She made us feel valued, built rapport and had good banter. She was knowledgable for allergies which reassured my friend his food would be safe. Thank you for the attention you gave us even though you were busy doing multiple tables to help with alcohol sales.

We had a great time!! Great drinks and desserts and excellent friendly service from Ash 👊🏻 was nice and quiet when we went and we tried a few tasty items. We are having our Christmas Dinner here very excited 👊🏻 nice atmosphere.

What an absolutely cute little venue. Came for Sunday lunch last week and it was just such a lovely experience ❤️ food was actually very so tasty and nice easy decor. Our waitress Sally could not have been more helpful, so attentive and just so sweet. It’s clear she cares about her job given her general appearance and hair maintenance. Would definitely recommend

Very busy Bank Holiday Monday. Cheerfully greeted by the Manager. Served by Aike who was excellent. Service was quick, food was excellent. Group of 4, we took our 6 year old Grandson who was well looked after. Have been many times and will definitely be going again 👍

Really lovely time going out for a family members birthday. James served us in the bar area and was so lovely and accommodating as we had a baby and a dog. Food was good (ribs were amazing!) Lots of empty plates.

Me and my friend went tonight and we had steak, the steak was so fatty that neither of us could eat it. One of us had it medium rare and other well done and both were so bad we could not eat it. We approached the manager that was on who was absolutely brilliant, so understanding. He took the meals off off our bill without hesitation and was so nice about it. We ended up giving him 10 pound tip for the way he dealt with it and after giving the tip we found out he actually gave it to the other young waitress who dealt with us which was very kind of him but I made sure before we left we were very appreciated of what he done for us and i would not let this stop is from returning and the staff are great, just wouldn't choose the steak again 😁 perfect management skills.

Quick stopover at the Blacksmith's Arms for a bite to eat after a long journey. We were looked after exceptionally by Hilary. Food came out quickly, very tasty. Salad bar was well stocked. Lots of bread rolls to choose from too. Wish I hadn't gone for dessert as I feel like I'm going to explode. All in all, great visit and well priced!

A lovely meal. Angela was absolutely fantastic and made sure we were never left needing anything. She ensured the highchair was clean and went above and beyond with service. I highly recommend.

Ashton was an absolute champion! We had a large and somewhat chaotic family group dinner. And he handled all the chaos of ordering very well, took photos of our group and explained anything we asked of him. He was a highlight of our pleasant dinner, the food was amazing and loved the salad bar! Ashton you are the man!

I feel very let down , nobody to check bookings in and could only see one doing the tables and member left to do the drinks. 1.30 booking and we left after 15 minutes. A few more had 40 minutes before they had the order in. Poor management and the staff word very hard for their money so please get more staff . 2 **

We had a lovely evening meal at the Harvester Blacksmith’s Arms in High Wycombe. For a Thursdays night it was fairly quiet which was fine by us. The staff were polite and friendly. Food was served quickly and well presented with no issues. Overall good value for money and a pleasant experience.

Would like to say a big thank you to Lara who served us and was amazing. She was very polite, quick and friendly. She is a true asset to the restaurant. Wishing her all the best

Great place, Ashton was very attentive and joyful. He was so patient with our group of 20. The unlimited salad was great and the meals are quite large. Great value for money!

I had brilliant service from our waiter..On our arrival we were told that Raphael was new and in training so bare with him. However we didn’t need to, he was very good at his job, very polite, kind and attentive. He always checked in with us and his service was quick and he kept everything clean and tidy :)

I was served by Angie. She was so welcoming and smiling! I loved her service very hospitable. The atmosphere was relaxing around lunch time. The food was delicious I had a Haddock and Chips. Thank you Angie!

Popped in as famished and cold from a woodland walk, Great service from the onset from the young waiters, found a table very quickly, quick polite service, nice atmoshere, clean and tidy, Food was very nice and tasty, good price,Salad cart had all you needed and a few delights added, will defo be back when in the area

I would like to thank James and Sally for making my partners birthday 🎂 yesterday very special. As usual the food, staff and service was excellent. We love going there and know that anyone who goes there for a meal would not be disappointed. I can not rate the service or the food high enough. Went there yesterday for my husbands birthday. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food came out well presented, perfectly cooked and delicious. We went for the lunch menu 2 course which is a great deal. Will definitely return.
